Our Impact

At Central our BIGGEST impact is our WEEKLY Food Distribution. Central partners with the Los Angeles Food Bank to provide groceries to approximately 500-600 households EVERY MONDAY. Each household we distribute food to has between 1 to 8 individuals in it, making our food distributions all the more impactful. Central provides assistance to THOUSANDS of individuals in our community EVERY MONTH. This provides more than assurance that they will have groceries for the week, it gives them HOPE.

What else does Central do?

FOOD KITS Separate from our weekly food distribution we also create kits for unhoused individuals with ready to eat items.
COMMUNITY GARDEN to teach individuals & families about food security and sustainability.
ENGLISH CLASSES to help give opportunities & ensure job security.
SUMMER CAMP one week of afternoon & evening adventures provided to kids who cannot otherwise participate in camp due to financial hardship.
HYGIENE KITS providing menstrual products & other items such as tooth brushes and socks for unhoused individuals.
BACK TO SCHOOL providing school supplies for the children and teens in our community.
WORK OPPORTUNITIES multiple times a week for individuals with autism special needs & other disabilities.
ZUMBA CLASSES every Wednesday to educate our community the importance of physical health.
PLUS WE PARTNER WITH NUMEROUS OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, EXPANDING OUR IMPACT & CHANGING EVEN MORE LIVES!

This year we’re offering to wrap people’s presents, so kids don’t see what they are getting from Santa until Christmas morning! We’re requesting lots of rolls of Christmas Paper and Bags!
